Seeing the world as it is, in all its beauty

One of the few things I love as much as photography is sharing my photos with others. I’ve always been fascinated with imagery - it’s why I’ve spent so many years as a journalist. But photography allows me to not just tell stories, but to also create things of beauty.

All my photos represent exactly what I saw at the time it was taken. As a documentary photographer I want to convey a moment in time, whether it be a landscape or a street scene, and to allow you to experience that moment. While I do use Lightroom, I do not use the software to alter the image in any way. I am inspired by what I see, and grateful to be able to share these moments. My hope is to offer a sense of place by bringing the viewer along with me, allowing them to be where I was, and see what I saw.

I offer two paper types for my prints. Fujicolor Deep Matte is designed specifically for digital output. Many people love the deep whites it offers, and the way colors seem to pop off the page. Others may want the lightly defined texture of Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, and appreciate that it is of archival quality (which is why it is also more expensive). It is also acid-free, which means with proper care the print will be around long after we are gone. This 100% cotton paper not only provides a three-dimensional look to prints, it features brilliant colors, deep blacks and striking contrast.

I also offer three sizes – 8x10, 12x18 and 16x24.

I use Bay Photo Labs for my printing because of their professional approach toward their work. While these are the papers and sizes that I use, I can print on any paper, and at any size, that Bay Photo offers. Contact me for pricing.

Thank you for considering my photographs. I hope you find something that you’ll enjoy having in your home.
